The Department of Environmental Engineering, NED University of Engineering & Technology organized a guest lecture on Health Safety and Environmental Management Practices for the postgraduate students enrolled in the Environmental Engineering and Environmental Management programs. The lecture took place on November 27th, 2025.
Dr. Abdulmoseen Segun Giwa, an international guest speaker is Associate Professor, Lead Scientist, and Lead Environmental Specialist at School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Nanchang Institute of Science and Technology, Nanchang, China. The speaker discussed global health safety and environmental management practices in R&D institutes and industries, shared insights on global career paths, future trends and forthcoming academic and research opportunities highlighting shifting international, industry trends. Participants had learned insights and interactive discussion with speaker. The session was moderated by Dr. Abdul Ghaffar, Professor in the department.
