The Environmental Research Group (ERG) is part of the Department of Environmental Engineering, NED University of Engineering & Technology. The interests of the group are wide, ranging from the fundamental environmental issues to encompass applications such as water / wastewater treatment; solid waste management, energy generation from wastes, bioenergy energy from agricultural residues, biofuels (biodiesel and bioethanol) from non-edible resources, application of biotechnology for pollution control and disease control and environmental applied microbiology. The department has extensive facilities for testing including analytical laboratory, microbiology laboratory, biodiesel laboratory and water testing labs.
