Guest Lecture - Mr. Nisar ul Haq Asadi |

| A seminar on Sustainable Aviation to Combat Environmental Pollution was organized by the Department of Environmental Engineering, NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi, Pakistan, on October 10, 2021, following COVID-19 related Govt SOPs. Mr. Nisar ul Haq Asadi, Sr. Assistant Director for Safety & Quality Mgmt. System in Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) was the guest speaker of the session. Dr. Abdul Ghaffar, Assistant Professor, welcomed the participants; the session formally began with the recitation of Holy Quran. The speaker conducted an interactive session with the students and discussed the importance of sustainability and impact in daily life, focusing on the aviation industry. Mr. Asadi highlighted the importance of ISO standards and their implementation, making easiness in the working environment. Students and faculty members including, Engr. Tufail Ahmed Zubedi, Dr. Mehmood Ali, Dr. Sadia Khan and Dr. Abdul Ghaffar participated in the seminar. In recognition of the contribution, Mr. Nisar ul Haq Asadi was awarded a memento by Dr. Mehmood Ali, Associate Professor of the Environmental Engineering Department. |
