An industrial visit to FFBL Power company Limited was arranged for postgraduate students of the course EN-523 Analysis of Environmental Contaminants Evening programme on November 11th, 2023. The visit focused on the plant operations, monitoring and control to emissions, liquid and solid waste. The visit included briefing of the plant through layout plan, storage and handling of the coal, water cooling, testing, baghouse filters, and power generation. Students were provided with visit to FFBL fertilizer plant, wastewater treatment plant, softening plant and testing laboratory. |
