Workshop on Career Planning for Environmental Engineering Professionals

The Department of Environmental Engineering at NED University of Engineering & Technology organized a workshop titled "Career Planning for Environmental Engineering Professionals" on July 15th, 2023. The workshop aimed to provide participants with valuable insights and guidance on the various career paths available in the field of environmental engineering, empowering them to make informed decisions about their future careers.
The workshop was thoughtfully structured into four parallel streams, each focusing on essential aspects of environmental engineering careers:

  1. Waste Management and Pollution Prevention
  2. Environmental Management Systems; 
  3. Energy, Natural Resources, and Climate Change
  4. Occupational Health and Safety

The success of the workshop was enriched by the participation of esteemed environmental experts from both industry and academia. These experts served as moderators, trainers, counselors, and panelists for the four parallel sessions, sharing their extensive knowledge and experience with the participants. The distinguished facilitators included:
